After harvesting of Banana bunch, Pseudostem is a waste for the farmers and they dump it on field side or road side all over world. It increases cost of production as well as causing various environmental as well as social problems. Technology Details:
Banana pseudostem after harvesting of bunch, is collected at processing unit for the fibre extraction process using Rasp adore machine developed by NAU, Navsari. That fibre further uses for the processing in to yarn and paper. SAP collected after fibre extraction process will be utilised for enrichment purpose to prepare NOVEL Organic Liquid Nutrients which is rich source of major & micro nutrients as well as naturally accruing PGR. NOVEL can be used as organic source in any agricultural crops to increase the quality and yield of the crop. Scutcher waste after squeezing SAP will be utilised for further value addition.
