Therefore, the product botanical insecticide soap which offer good control of pests of different categories and are free from residue and other problems. It has been evaluated in seed spice crops like coriander and fenugreek and showed good insecticidal values. The soap can also be incorporated in organic cultivation of agricultural crops. Botanical insecticide soap was made with cold process using neem oil along with others seed/plant oil which act as synergist to enhanced insecticidal value of the products against wide spectrum of insect pests. The product offers good control of insect pest on various crops. This product was evaluated in the field experiment for three years against aphid’s population in coriander and fenugreek under NAIP project during 2010-12. The product is easy to use, water soluble and reduces the aphid’s population in the crop up to 93% during the observation. The botanical insecticide soap is produced and distributed/sale to the farmers for control of pests of seed spices, vegetable crops/ field crops in open field and protected cultivation.
