This novel technology based innovative kit utilizes a simple thermophilic biochemical colour reaction in urine to diagnose pregnancy and can be performed by anybody and without any specific infrastructure. The technology enables the detection of urinary metabolites in pregnant animals and confirms the pregnancy of cattle or buffalo by reacting with the metabolites to form a red-violet lactone derivative conjugate.
