IVRI- MethLow
Background:
Enteric methane production contributes to greenhouse gas emission and loss of gross energy~12% from animal feed. Some phytogenics are known to decrease enteric methane. However, the results are variable and only specific combinations of phytogenics will decrease enteric methane:
Technology Details:
The product has been developed after series of in vitro and in vivo testing for reduction in enteric methane in ruminants. It has been observed to decrease methane by 30.37% during in vitro study and 14.9% in growing buffaloes.
