Koi Herpes Virus (KHV) PCR-Based Diagnostic Kit
The ready-to-use PCR Kit contains the components for polymerase chain reaction that allows rapid amplification of KHV DNA using the gene-specific primers. Furthermore, this nested PCR based diagnosis performed using both the primer sets are found to be highly sensitive, however, the primers can be used separately for detection purpose. Further, the same primers can also been used in real time PCR to enhance the sensitivity as well as to quantify KHV DNA in infected tissues. The nested PCR kit can detect up to single virus particle in tissues. This kit can be used in disease surveillance, developing control measures and detection of virus in hatcheries and farms.
