JHO 2009-1 is single cut oat variety recommended for the cultivation central zone in states of U.P., M.P. Maharashtra, Gujarat under irrigated conditions during rabi season. Variety is moderately tolerant to all major diseases, resistant to lodging, non-shattering and highly responsive to recommended agronomical practices. Due to high early vigour, high per day productivity and high GFY variety is ideally suitable for silage producing industry.
