YVMV disease is a major problem in okra. ELCV is another disease coming to several parts of the country. Okra crop is getting heavy loss due to these two diseases. Technology Details:
It is a high yielding (23.0 t/ha) hybrid having resistant to Bhendi Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus (YVMV) and ELCV disease. Pods are attractive dark kharif season as well as in spring summer in disease prone area. Adoption of this hybrid will help in improving production which in turn will help in improving farmers’ income.
