Mass production of quality papaya seed in dioecious variety Pusa Nanha through licensing by the private nurserymen/ entrepreneur is one of the effective agri-business models for commercialization. This intervention would help in meeting the seed demand of the fruit growers of this important cash fruit crop. Furthermore, complete knowhow of the scientific seed production of this licensed variety would help in the entrepreneurship development, since the commercial rate range from Rs. 75,000 to 1,25,000 per kg.
